At the completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
• Diagnose fibromyalgia (FM) according to current evidence-based criteria, and identify the clinical domains affected by the syndrome
• Analyze the clinical evidence supporting the use of available and emerging pharmacotherapeutic agents in the treatment of FM and the putative advantages of each agent
• Utilize a strategic pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic paradigm to formulate treatment plans that provide optimal symptom management across multiple clinical domains in FM patients
